SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
Simultaneous interpreting requires interpreters to be highly qualified, as the process of interpreting runs in parallel with the speaker’s speech. To ensure a high quality performance, for one language combination there are two interpreters used, taking turns every 15-20 minutes. Furthermore it is vital that the interpreters can familiarise themselves with the topic of the event by receiving all helpful material on the subject in question, prepared speeches, PPT presentations etc. beforehand.
Baltic Media Ltd also provides mobile equipment for simultaneous interpreting, including microphones, headphones, interpreting booths etc.
