CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING

Consecutive interpreting is widespread translation form and is done during pauses in speeches. The interpreter listens to a part of a speech and takes notes; then he translates into the target language based on these notes. This is an easier and cheaper method of interpreting. It is commonly used in business or other types of negotiation as well as in conferences and other events.
